What and Why We Process

When registering for a race (racer):

First name, last name, birth date / year, gender, e-mail, phone, optionally team, category and other fields depending on the specific race configuration.

• Purpose: maintaining the start list, communication with the organizer, matching the entry fee payment (if paid).
• Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR – performance of a contract (race registration). Consent with data processing is confirmed by the racer in the registration form.
• Recipients: the organizer of the specific race, optionally the timekeeper for results publication.

When logging into the organizer area:

Login, e-mail, IP address for login audit.

Purpose: race administration, user identification.

Retention Period

Registration data is retained for the duration of the race and standard archiving (typically until the end of the following calendar year, payment records 5 years for tax reasons).

Your Rights

Under Art. 15–22 GDPR you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection and portability. Send your request to info@raceregister.cz; we will handle it within 30 days.

Cookies and Browser Storage

The application uses only strictly necessary cookies and Web Storage required for its operation. We do not use any third-party tracking, analytics or marketing cookies. Cookie consent is not required under § 89(3) of Act No. 127/2005 Coll. (ePrivacy), as all stored data is necessary to provide the requested service.
